The mirrors arrived to Peru with the Spanish conquest, along with the gold leaf sheets, (pandeoro) the latter's origins goes far as back as ancient Egypt inasmuch as at the Tutankhamen's tomb, they found remains of this beautiful coating of sheets of gold. At the height of its fame in Italy and Spain, pandeoro then came to Peru.
In the vicereal era the pandeoro served to adorn churches, frames and other artisans objects.
There are four styles in the manufacture of mirrors, the Cajamarca style, caracterized for the glass painted, the Cusco style, where the pandeoro is applied to the carving, the Mixed style known as Cuscaja style, which consists in the use of pandeoro in the carving of the frames, as well as the painting of the glass. The fourth style is the polychromated style with the use of various multicolors shades, which at the present has great acceptance in the international market.

Arts and Crafts.
In reality there truly exist two types of arts and crafts, those manufactured in mass production (factories) of arts and crafts that exist around Lima, destined for consumption of the tourists and the other created by independent artisans that due to their limited production, they dont have access to the regular stores. From these sectors we have selected the best artisans masters and we offer:

Museums replicas.
We are fortunate to have two masters in this field. The legendary Alejandro Velez who especialize in the reproduction of ceramics of different precolumbian cultures.
We also sell the official replicas of the Royal Tombs of Sipan Museum which are truly gorgeous.

Jewelry.
The jewel that we offer are made by the master Jewel Tiberio Gonzalez.

Souvenirs.
Without the need to visit Peru,you can buy from us beautiful copper dishes, bronze pictures with precolumbian motivs and leather sculptures with peruvian drawings.

We offer tourism books showing the main tourist attractions of the country, birdwatching books as well as books of the peruvian cuisine.
